BOCK Subcritical CO₂ Compressors – HG CO₂ and HG CO₂ LT
BOCK Subcritical CO₂ Compressors are designed for demanding deep-freeze applications using CO₂ (R744) as a refrigerant. The HG CO₂ and HG CO₂ LT ranges are gas-cooled, semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors developed specifically for subcritical CO₂ operating conditions.
These compressors are used in both cascade and booster CO₂ systems across supermarkets, commercial refrigeration and industrial cooling applications, providing high efficiency, reliable operation and long service life.
BOCK HG CO₂ Compressors
The HG CO₂ range provides:
- Subcritical CO₂ operation for deep freezing
- Operating pressures up to 51 bar (tc = 15°C)
- Standstill pressures of LP 40 bar / HP 55 bar
- HGX44e CO₂ LP standstill pressure of 30 bar
- High efficiency for deep-freeze applications below -15°C
The range includes HGX12e CO₂, HGX22e CO₂, HGX34e CO₂ and HGX44e CO₂ models.
BOCK HG CO₂ LT Compressors
HG CO₂ LT compressors provide:
- Operating pressures up to 64 bar (tc = 25°C)
- ML and S motor versions for a wide frequency range
- Operation at higher condensing temperatures
- LP and HP standstill pressures up to 100 bar
- High efficiency in deep-freeze applications below 0°C
Reliable and Efficient CO₂ Refrigeration
BOCK Subcritical CO₂ Compressors combine high compressor efficiency with a long-life design and broad application limits. Pump lubrication provides a reliable and safe oil supply, while low vibration, pulsation and operating noise contribute to dependable performance. Pressure relief valves are provided for the suction and pressure areas.
CO₂ applications require specialist system design and control and are not a universal substitute for F-gases. BOCK’s assembly instructions and guidance for handling CO₂ compressors must therefore always be followed. Product information may also change as compressor technology develops.
For supermarkets, commercial refrigeration and industrial cooling applications requiring dependable subcritical CO₂ technology, BOCK Subcritical CO₂ Compressors provide a specialist solution for modern CO₂ refrigeration systems.
