Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Policy
Fridge Spares Wholesale Ltd. supplies electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) solely for business-to-business (B2B) use.
Under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2013 (as amended), the responsibility for financing the collection, treatment and environmentally sound disposal of WEEE arising from equipment supplied by FSW rests with the business end-user (the customer), unless otherwise agreed in writing.
By purchasing from FSW, the customer agrees to take responsibility for:
- Ensuring that any WEEE arising from equipment purchased from FSW is safely collected, treated, and disposed of in accordance with the WEEE Regulations.
- Not disposing of electrical equipment as unsorted municipal waste.
- Using a registered waste carrier and authorised treatment facility for all WEEE disposals.
- Maintaining appropriate records or evidence of WEEE disposal for compliance purposes.
FSW does not operate a general take-back or collection service for B2B WEEE unless expressly stated in a written contract or regulatory obligation.
Where applicable, FSW will meet its producer obligations under its producer registration (UK WEEE Producer Registration Number WEE/MM9149AA) for EEE it has placed on the UK market.
