R422A (Freon™/Isceon MO79) is a HFC blend, used as a replacement for R22 and R502 in low and medium temperature commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.

- Zeotropic refrigerant blend containing R125, R134a and R600a
- Refrigerant must be charged from the liquid phase to ensure accurate composition
- A‑Gas refrigerant cylinders have dual port valves, making liquid offtake easier
- Non-flammable with a safety classification of A1
- Generally compatible with mineral oil, however conversion to POE oil may be required. Contact the compressor manufacturer for more information
- Significantly lower discharge temperature than R22
- 20% lower GWP compared to R404A and R507
